Sunset in the White Water Valley

Author: Stabrowski Kazimierz, 1869 - 1929

Created: early 20th century.

Material / technique: paper, pastel.

Dimensions: 47.5x65 cm.

Signature: K. Stabrowski (in the bottom-right corner of the painting).

The Sunset in the White Water Valley shines with positive orange tones. Yet again, Stabrowski’s symbolic motifs of sunset, water, mountains, and fog dominate the work of art. These motifs can be found in many of Stabrowski’s and even in Čiurlionis’ works.
